The farm’s unique and beautiful setting will be an ideal place for the artist to draw inspiration, engage with the community, and create a body of work exploring “the intersection of potential, circumstance, and technology.”
Elise Koncsek specializes in interactive and immersive art. She uses rich colors, crisp details and text liberally on wood, acrylic, and fiber. The artist states "I want my art to pack a punch, both visually and emotionally, because many of my most influential memories are of experiences which both awed me visually and challenged me psychologically. Those moments stay with me, and continue to direct my day to day choices. Following the lead of my artistic and revolutionary heroes, I want to use my growing skills as an artist to make a positive impact, and share forward the feeling of wonder and possibility I have gained from others."
