Jammin’ and Holistic Hooper are excited to announce the addition of a free, outdoor concert with Dove Award nominee Austin French to JAMFEST, a community festival and 3-on-3 basketball tournament, on Saturday, August 13 at Eastridge Church, 24205 SE Issaquah Fall City Rd, Issaquah, WA.
The 6pm concert is open to the public and will include a special guest presentation, message of hope and celebration concert. French is known for his joyful and energetic style, and songs Freedom Hymn, Why God, Born Again and Wake Up Sleeper.
The community festival begins at 3:30pm with live music, food, giveaways and tons of fun. An outdoor sound stage will feature local bands, speakers and entertainment, including the Eastridge Youth band. Kids will love the inflatables, games & activities. Youth and adults won’t want to miss taking a swing at the car smash. Show off your high-flying skills at the slam dunk contest. Grab a BBQ meal and get ready to find something fun to do, whether you’re an adult, youth or kid.
The day begins at 9am with a 3x3 tournament for kids 3rd grade through adults and all skill levels (six player categories). Registration is $100 per team (four people) and includes a Jamfest t-shirt for each player. Individuals may also register and be placed on a team. Register at EastridgeToday.com/jamfest.
In partnership with Eastridge Church, 500 backpacks will be given away to students to get ready for the school year (250 elementary, 250 middle/high school). Giveaway begins at 3:30pm. No proof of need or pre-registration required. While supplies last.
