The Vang-Johnson family is supporting our local Hmong flower farmers through a coop organized by the Hmong Association of WA. We are Hmong, and these farmers are our distant cousins and long-time friends. Their flower crops are coming in, and their families will experience untold losses if they cannot get flowers to consumers.
Our family is volunteering to buy flower bouquets fresh from the farmers and have them available for pickup in our driveway/front yard. We have also coordinated our friends and neighbors all across Seattle to similarly host pickup. For orders of 10+ bouquets we will deliver!
Mixed bouquets are currently $15 and bundles of 12 tulips are $20. You may pay through Venmo, PayPal, or check. Cash accepted in Lake City (exact amount, please, as we will not be providing change to minimize physical interactions).
Please consider making a donation on top of your flower purchase. We will use these donations to gift bouquets to health care professionals, school lunch distribution staff, or other essential workers. We gift them as we see them in and around the community.
Complete the order form at the link below no later than Thursday, April 30, at 9 p.m. Orders will be available to pick up Friday–Sunday, May 1–3, according to the schedule included in the form. Pick up is offered in 7 Seattle neighborhoods, 2 Shoreline locations and in Lake Forest Park.
