Wondrous Woodpeckers

Bellevue is home to a myriad of woodpecker species, from the striking red-breasted sapsucker to the brightly-patterned pileated woodpecker. Spend a morning learning how these birds fit into our parks, and what you can do to help them thrive. We’ll gaze into the forest on a Ranger-led walk to discuss them (and maybe even spot a few), and enjoy a craft back at the Ranger Station!

Ages: Best for ages 3-8. Cost: Free! Pre-registration required: (425) 452-6993 or parkrangerprogram@bellevuewa.gov by 4PM the day before.
