Today was day one of Folk Life and there weren't a ton of people, but those of us who were there had a great time. I was wishing I didn't have to race home to meet my kids off the school bus this afternoon because there were so many cool looking booths I wanted to check out.
Make sure you come on down and when you're there stop over at the Folk Life Commons where there are some really great activities for kids. Including our very own ParentMap booth where you can do some fun stuff. We partnered with the Pacific Science Center who brought some really cool musical instruments that kids (and adults!) can play plus if you're lucky you'll get to watch their cool nitrogen demo. Then hang out and make a festive spring hat. Fun for kids of all ages!
And I really mean it--fun for ALL ages! Mohawks and all...
