Wellspring Family Services raises money, and you have a great time. Watch movie shorts and bop to music by Caspar Babypants at “Music ‘n’ Movie Nights” at Mount Baker Community Club (May 6), Mercer Island Presbyterian Church (May 13) and Sunset Community Club in Ballard (May 20). Ticket price includes treats, drinks and popcorn!

Bear Awareness Day at Northwest TrekBear in mind
Bear Awareness Day — just in time for the camping season. Watch black bears roam a “bear unsafe campground,” while grizzlies explore a “bear safe encampment.” You won’t want your campsite to fall into category #1 after this.
