Equestrian Entertainment
The line-up is growing daily: Lake Washington Saddle Club Jump Off, Drill Teams, Flying Duchess Mounted Archery, Driving Dressage, Freestyle Dressage, a farrier demonstration and just confirmed - The Seattle Mounted Police!
Kids' Activities
We typically have bubble excitement, face painters, balloon artists, hula hoops, equestrian art activities, a State Parks Interpretive Specialist with local animal specimens, and a petting zoo.
Pony Rides: Pony rides from Seattle Pony Party for small children is a huge draw for Party in the Park every year.
An Urban Carnival with Country Clowns: Clowns and a donkey dash! What is a donkey dash you ask? Hint: Donkeys (yes real ones), candy, and kids - but some adults can’t help themselves. Come find out.
HOME (Helping Our Miniature Equines) is sharing its animals with us this year!
Family Trail Adventures
Venture out on the trails to learn about the plants, animals, and ecological wonders of this amazing 482-acre urban forest. Chances abound to win gift certificates to local businesses!
Refreshments
Uncertain of future health guidelines, our famous ‘baked on the griddle’ pancake and sausage breakfast will be swapped out this year for delicious local food trucks for everyone’s enjoyment.
