A fun day with lots of music, dancing, arts and history; pioneer games & chores from Fort Nisqually; weaving, quilting, art projects, and Oregon Trail songs and dancing. Music by Squirrel Butter, a great duo whose deep love of traditional music explore the genres of old-time, early bluegrass, blues, country, & cajun while adding their unique perspective to these traditions and threading these influences into their original compositions. The day also includes one room schoolhouse fun and Trapper Dave telling stories about mountain men and trappers. Native tribal history and contributions in the state today.
