With days getting shorter, it can be difficult to find time to go birding. This weekend, beat the daylight savings blues with these rain or shine birding walks. All skill levels welcome!
Join avid birder Art Wang for this walk around Point Ruston and Dune Peninsula Park. This is an introductory walk suitable for all skill levels. Expect to see a variety of waterbirds including comorants, scoters, grebes, and goldeneyes. Sometimes participants are lucky enough to spot whales! Meet at Anthem Coffee in Ruston, 5005 Mainstreet, at 9AM. This walk follows paved and gravel trails. Be prepared for the weather as it can change quickly close to the water. Restrooms can be found inside Anthem Coffee or at Dune Peninsula Park. This walk will be held November through March.
