Join us this summer for Treasure Tuesdays! Every other week all summer long we will embark on a hunt to find a new treasure at the farm. There will be a different theme every week and our adventures will include: following clues on a map, plant identification, animal tracking, vegetable appreciation, digging, critical thinking/logic, and lots of fun in the great outdoors. (parents must accompany child)
Treasure hunters can come for one day, or buy the whole series and have fun all summer long!
7/2: Buried Treasure - we will learn about treasures found beneath the soil and dig up a hidden treasure!
7/16 Poisonous Plants and Other Perils - it's thought there are precious cures for diseases hidden in the depths of the rain forest! This week we will take off in pursuit of the treasures hidden in the plant world, and learn to stay safe from poisonous plants while we're at it!
7/30 The Quest for Nom - we will search the farm for the most delicious foods so we can enjoy the greatest treasure of all: a healthy meal shared with friends and family! Kids will take home a selection of produce the will pick themselves from our U-pick garden!
8/13 Pirates Plunder - Arrr! It seems a band of pirates has hidden their treasure at KIS farm. Can you help us find the booty?
8/20 Finding Bigfoot - rumor has it a Sasquatch has been spotted at KIS farm! Come learn some basic tracking skills and see if you can help us find Bigfoot!
