Are you craving a treat to make your day a little extra special? Do you want to make homemade hot cocoa and curl up and get cozy as you listen to fun books? Great for a beginner baker and a simple sweet treat for experienced bakers. Let’s stir up some fun in the kitchen together! Pajamas are welcome! Miss Bekka loves any excuse to wear pjs in the early evening.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons sugar (depending on how sweet you like it)
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup milk or any combination of milk, half-and-half, alternative milk or cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
    Optional Add-ins:
    cinnamon, mint extract, marshmallows, whipped cream,etc.

1/4 teaspoon
Tablespoon
pot (you can also use microwave with just mug if preferred)
wooden spoon
mug 
spoon
