Tiger king?

Forget about that other guy. This royal cat named Vitez, seen here lolling in the grass, lives at Cougar Mountain Zoo. The mission at Cougar Mountain Zoo is to promote animal conservation through education. Bengal tigers are critically endangered and may soon become extinct due to poaching and habitat loss. These tigers normally live across parts of India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan and Burma. For ideas on how to help, check out Save Tigers Now, a collaboration between the World Wildlife Fund and the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation.

Fun fact: Every tiger has about 100 stripes (or more) and the pattern is unique — there are no two alike.

Cougar Mountain Zoo, like other animal parks, is temporarily closed. Tune into the zoo's Facebook events page Wednesdays and Fridays for new ZOO2U video presentations about resident animals. They're cool!
