The South Sound area’s most popular corn maze is throwing money into the mix! Visit the Amazing Money Maze through Oct. 31 for chances to win tons of great loot, from iPods to movie tickets. Choose between the 1.2- and 1.8-mile mazes and stop at six checkpoints along the way. Answer financial trivia questions and get your card punched — each punch is an entry into daily and weekly prize drawings. Take part in the flashlight hunt on Fridays and Saturdays after 5 p.m., or stop by any day during the week — but call for open hours before you set out; daylight hours vary. $7–$8, Sundays $6. (And if you’re looking for something a little spookier, try the Rutledge Haunted Maze on Friday and Saturday nights. The $10 admission gets you into all three mazes.) Parents are encouraged to read with their child and learn the stories, too. $6, younger than 1 free. Oct.1–Dec. 31: Monday–Saturday 10 a.m.–5 p.m., Sunday noon–5 p.m. Tacoma Children’s Museum, 936 Broadway, Tacoma. 253-627-6031,
