montessorischoolGoggle founders Larry Page and Segei Brin are alumni. So is Amazon's Jeff Bezos, Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales and famed chef Julia Child.

They all went to Montessori schools, according to a recent Wall Street Journal article.

What else do they have in common? They are creative, out-of-the-box thinkers. "Perhaps it's just a coincidence that Montessori alumni lead two of the world's most innovative companies," says WSJ writer Peter Sims. "Or perhaps the Montessori Mafia can provide lessons for us all, even though it's too late for most of us to attend Montessori."

Do Montessori preschools foster imaginative superstars? Would these folks have shot to the top no matter where they'd spent their early school years? Love to hear your thoughts.
