Following last year's success of the Miss Representation screenings, InfluenceHer will be hosting a movie screening of Girl Rising as the first event of 2013. We would like to invite you to this powerful, inspiring film. Did you know that by 2015, females will make up 64% of the world's adult population who are illiterate? Girl Rising spotlights how the power of education also gives a young girl the power change to change the world. The film tells the story of nine extraordinary girls from nine countries and is narrated by nine actresses including Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Selma Hayek and more.
