Rainier Valley Cooperative Preschool is hosting a movie matinee fundraiser on Saturday, March 11, from 10 a.m. to Noon (doors open at 9:45 a.m.). The event will take place at the Ark Lodge Cinema in Columbia City. All proceeds go to support this nonprofit community preschool.
The day will include screenings of short films curated by NW Film Forum from this year’s Children's Film Festival with short intermissions. All films are gentle and appropriate for all ages.
Zip around the world with these high-energy, high-imagination animated shorts from Children’s Film Festival Seattle 2017! You’ll be dazzled by the light, color and storytelling in this vibrant celebration of creativity and international film for children. Along the way, kids will learn how to be true friends and embrace their adventures!
Tickets are $10 per person or $25 per family. Kids age 2 and under are free. The community is most welcome! Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.
