Wood, most any variety, we use pine: if you choose wood sand the sides smooth

Heavy duty water color paper
Or even a piece of primed cardboard
Paints (bran not important, we use liquitex and others) but for these projects any paint will work so use your paints at home, order some from Amazon or just buy the walmart special. And although we use a particular color these descriptions will get you close enough.

Cerulean Blue (soft blue)

Burnt Sienna (cinnamon colored)
Black
Silver or Gold (optional)
Piece of chalk

Assorted Paintbrushes,
You need a soft flat, a small round and a medium round or filbert. Any others are optional

Baby wipes/Towel/or damp paper towel
Paper Plate or taped down wax paper
Water bucket
Thin Black Sharpie
