PacSci Livestream: The Science Behind Radio

Calendar/Event Details

Have you ever wondered how music makes it from a radio station to your ears? Discover what a day in the life of a locally owned and run radio station looks like. KEXP, a Seattle-based nonprofit arts organization, reaches over 200,000 listeners around the world each week through online and on-air service.

Join KEXP team members DJ Evie, audio engineer Julian Martlew, and broadcast engineer Atiba Riley to learn the art, science, and careers involved in curating, recording, and broadcasting music in this special Science in the City talk.

Livestream Information

We invite the global community to participate from their homes via livestream found on Pacific Science Center’s YouTube page. Advanced registration is required, and the link to the livestream will be sent out via email on the day of the event. The livestream begins at 7 p.m.
