In this collaboration with Olympia Parks, we've deconstructed picture books and put them on signs placed along the trails, so you can enjoy a nature walk and a great book at the same time — a story walk. Make your way to Kettle View Park to learn all about bees and read Shabazz Larkin's "The Thing About Bees: A Love Story", or to Yauger Park to explore the places where city and nature overlap with Megan Wagner Lloyd and Abagail Halpin's "Finding Wild". Park locations and book titles will change regularly, so you can follow StoryTrails all through your public parks.
