
Trailhead Direct is a pilot project co-led by King County Metro and King County Parks. This project seeks to ease vehicle congestion, reduce safety hazards and expand access to hiking destinations along I-90. The Trailhead Direct service runs on designated weekends and holidays.
Trailhead Direct is a seasonal service that operates on weekends and designated holidays, which are Memorial Day (Monday, May 29), Independence Day (Tuesday, July 4), and Labor Day (Monday, July 4).
Routes:
Trailheads: Mount Si, Mount Teneriffe, Little Si
Start point: Bus stop at Broadway and East Denny Way across from Sound Transit’s Capitol Hill Link light rail Station.
End point: Bus stop at East John Street and Broadway East, adjacent to Sound Transit’s Capitol Hill Link light rail station.
Additional stops on First Hill, on Fourth Avenue in downtown Seattle near the University Street Link light rail station; the Eastgate Freeway Station in Bellevue; and the North Bend Park-and-Ride.
