2017 Golden Teddy Awards — Family Resources

nanny

Trusted nanny or babysitter service

Winner: Seattle Nanny Network

Leaving your little one isn’t easy, but resources like Seattle Nanny Network sure do help. As the name suggests, this network aims to be the “HR arm” for child care professionals — offering both nannies and the families they serve peace of mind (and Puget Sound–area parents a much-needed break).

Finalists

A Golden Teddy alum, Starling Agency is well known for its work in child development and education. This Seattle-based resource works with nannies who specialize in topics ranging from autism spectrum disorders to languages to yoga and sports.

Bellevue-based West Coast Nannies bills itself as the “boutique nanny placement agency” with a focus on customized packages for a variety of family needs.

Catering to Seattle and Eastside families, A Nanny For U works by the motto “Happy family with a nanny.” This agency has been placing nannies, newborn care specialists and household professionals in area homes since 1994. (The owner started the company when she was 22, after a timely conversation with her pregnant doctor.)

The Nanny Consultant is a returnee to the Golden Teddys — and it’s no surprise, given Kyla Lopez-Perkins’ extensive work with nannies, household managers, doulas, night nannies and newborn care specialists in the greater Seattle area.

Thanks to our 2017 Golden Teddy sponsors!
