Local kids and parents don’t have to run away to join in the big-top fun thanks to SANCA — School of Acrobatics & New Circus Arts. Located in South Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood, the school has more than 1,000 kids and adults attending classes every week. Play, laughter and joyous creativity are at the center of every activity at this beloved local spot.

Among team sports for Northwest kids, soccer is king. You adore the Lil’ Kickers Soccer for Kids program, which familiarizes children as young as 18 months of age to the world’s most popular game. Programs take place at many locations around the Northwest.

Depending on their Pedalheads camp choice, kids ditch training wheels, learn mountain biking or develop “superhero” physical skills to use for sport endeavors. Parents and kids alike love the small classes, enthusiastic instructors and that campers are learning skills that translate to a lifelong love of moving their bodies.

Bellevue’s PRO Sports Club garnered your votes for its youth sports programs. Many of the instructors are accomplished coaches or former elite athletes, and you’re thrilled with the skills they’re teaching your kids. PRO Sports Club’s programs offer instruction in popular team sports like soccer and basketball, as well as aquatics, squash, golf, flag football, tennis and racquetball.

The official home training center of the Seattle Sounders FC is also where kids ages 18 months and older learn technical and tactical soccer training. At Starfire Sports, participants play on 12 indoor and outdoor pitches in a wide variety of classes and leagues.
