Downtown Issaquah Story Stroll Dedicated to Making Applesauce

The Downtown Issaquah Association celebrates its latest Story Stroll “edutainment” program along with the Issaquah Library with the fanciful, heartwarming book “Making Applesauce!” written by Lisa Amstutz and illustrated by Talitha Shipman.

The Story Stroll features Maria and her family on their quest for the perfect pot of applesauce. “Soon the baskets are filled with rosy apples, ready to be smooshed into sweet, tangy applesauce. We pack them up and head to Grandma’s big, roomy, kitchen.”

Each page will be displayed prominently in business windows along Front Street from Village Theatre to Sunset Way from Oct. 11 through November 16.
