Kids Day to Parks is a national event that celebrates spring and the outdoors. This FREE family event, sponsored by Friends of Saint Edward State Park, is on Saturday, May 19th from 11am-3pm, encouraging families of nearby communities to enjoy the outdoors with educational booths, crafts, outdoor activities, entertainment, food trucks and more. We are excited to have the Northshore Fire department, KCLS Library2Go vehicle, a PopUp StoryWalk featuring Corey R. Tabor’s book “Fox and the Bike Ride” along with a book signing with Corey at 12noon, and a great obstacle course apart of this year’s family-friendly event.
