Seedling Visits: Explore Sunflower Seedlings Preschool

A Seedling Visit is our version of a preschool tour — outdoors, hands-on, and rooted in play. Families are invited for a one-hour visit in our outdoor classroom to see firsthand how learning comes alive in nature. You’ll meet our lead educator, explore our play and learning areas, and experience the flow of a typical day — from climbing logs and digging in the dirt to observing seasonal changes and connecting with friends.

During your visit, you and your child will take part in:

• Discovery Time (child-led exploration and play)
• Nature Workshop (an open-ended, hands-on activity)
• Seedling Send-Off (our closing circle to reflect and transition)

These small-group visits are designed for parents and children to participate, observe, and ask questions. For caregivers who want to dive deeper, a short Q&A is offered after pick-up at 1:00 PM.

Seedling Visits are offered by appointment, with limited space to ensure a calm and engaging experience for young learners. We can’t wait to welcome your family into our nature-loving community!
