From the organizers, Stephanie Jean and C San Ik: Washington teachers, educators and anyone who supports educators and or who has children in the school system, I’m organizing a peaceful protest called Teachers for Black Lives Matter.
Educators have such an important role in dismantling racial oppression and racism at the school level, and now is our time to come together and show the black community that they have our support!
The plan is to start at Stadium High School and march to Wright Park.
