Virtual: Year One Sign Language with Twins & Triplet Babies

Calendar/Event Details

** A free, online meeting for members and non-members who are expecting multiples (twins, triplets, etc) or have multiples 0-12 months **

Join us for this fun and interactive session about sign language. Using American Sign Language (ASL) with babies has tremendous benefits for families. Not only does learning a second language boost baby brain development and language, but sign language is easier for young babies than spoken language (spoken language requires a lot of fine motor control whereas moving hands and arms requires gross motor control) and can help parents and babies communicate more efficiently and earlier than just spoken language.

Jarren Kinch will lead us through some basic words to get us communicating with our little ones. He is a licensed ASL interpreter, father of two (but not twins), a PEPS for Parents group leader, and a frequent guest speaker about sign language.

This event is hosted by Seattle Families of Multiples and is part of their Year One series. Year One is a free drop-in group for all expectant and new parents of multiples through their first year (your babies are also welcome, of course!). This meeting will be held virtually.
