Technology’s Child: Empowered Parenting in the Digital Age

ParentEd Talks Replay

One thing’s for sure: Technology is here to stay. As parents, helping our children navigate the digital landscape can be tricky — if not outright scary — at times. Watch "Empowering Parents: Navigating the Digital Age with your Child," a virtual ParentEd Talk with author Katie Davis, Ph.D. Learn strategies for keeping your child healthy and safe online without losing your mind.

With years of experience in digital learning and technology, Davis will guide you through the most pressing issues facing parents today, and help you develop a plan to navigate them with ease.

About the speaker

Katie Davis, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor at the University of Washington (UW) and Director of the UW Digital Youth Lab. For nearly 20 years, she has been researching the impact of digital technologies on young people’s learning, development, and well-being.
