Become a Discover Ranger on the 50th Anniversary of Discovery Park. Earn your certificate and medallion sticker…plus, a pat on the back and applause! A pilot program for kids 5-12 years old, based on the Junior Ranger National and State Park Programs. Fun activities learning about Discovery Park and park stewardship – learn about plants, birds, human history and science. Pick up an activity packet, directions and crayons; and, you are off on an one hour exploration adventure to wooded trails, beach, ponds, and the Daybreak Star for indigenous history and art.
