Hyatt Regency Lake Washington at Seattle’s Southport is hosting a Summer Community Festival in celebration of the season.
The event will take a kitchen takeover by That Brown Girl Cooks!, the catering division of Communion Restaurant & Bar, serving delicious soul food fusion alongside dock & drink’s signature “docktails” and craft beverages. The event will also include the Black Love Market featuring Black-owned businesses and creatives including Ciara Channell Company, Queen N Things, and The Autumn Club. Seating at dock & drink is available on a first com first serve basis.
Additionally, the Summer Community Festival will feature a Paint & Pour class, a guided painting class and candle pouring experience backdropped by the waterfront setting. The Paint & Pour class is led by Jonarra Swanson, founder of NARR Artwork and Colina Bruce, with Noir Lux Candles.
