The program includes the expansive and dramatic Adagio molto first movement from Beethoven’s Second Symphony as well as Revueltas’ Redes Suite, created from the composer’s score for the 1936 film of the same name about the Mexican Revolution. Between those two works, we welcome viola soloist Mason Nguyen, a student of Symphony partner Key to Change studio, who performs the first two movements (Largo and Allegro) of Telemann’s Viola Concerto. Foster High School’s band will open the show with a special guest performance.
