Offering evaluations, therapy, early intervention, education and support, Kindering has multiple locations to serve children with special needs and their families. At Kindering, they believe that embracing children with diverse abilities can help skills soar. One voter says, “They come to our home, have classes, and we see a variety of therapists to get our kiddo’s needs met.”

Dedicated to helping parents build stronger families by creating smarter, happier kids, College Nannies + Sitters + Tutors provides a set of wraparound services for providing quality child care, from long-term nanny placements to babysitters, including caregivers who are experienced working with children with special needs. 

“We walk beside you” is the motto of Different Paths Tacoma. The owner is a special education teacher who has expertise in coaching and providing support for children with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, sensory processing disorder and pervasive developmental disorders.

Specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of cognitive and emotional disorders in children and adults, the Hallowell Todaro ADHD Center offers coaching, support groups and treatment plans. Based in Kirkland, it specializes in a strength-based approach.                 

Speech language pathologists provide individualized speech, language and social communication services at finalist Pediatric Speech and Language Therapy (locations in Wallingford, West Seattle and Bellevue). One reader says, “We were matched with a therapist quickly and have had a wonderful experience. Plus, it’s easy to reschedule an appointment when needed.”
