Looking to get a head start on enrolling your child for the 2012-2013 school year? For incoming kindergartners and new students, Seattle Public Schools is offering an early enrollment period from Oct. 1, 2011-Jan. 31, 2012.
Parents looking to enroll during this early bird time period will be able to get a jump start on the paperwork and will receive school assignment notification in February 2012 before the spring/summer open enrollment periods begin. (And not to mention, you'll miss out on all of those fun long lines that spring/summer open enrollment offers. Darn.)
