Northwest Paddling Festival

Calendar/Event Details

Featuring more than 60 paddle sports businesses offering canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, paddling equipment, accessories and gear, the Northwest Paddling  Festival is a can’t-miss event for any paddling enthusiast. The largest event of its kind in the Pacific Northwest, the festival brings paddle sports retailers, manufacturers and athletes together in one location!

Best of all, you can shop, compare and browse the best in paddle sports brands side-by-side, enjoy a tour down Issaquah Creek, learn a new skill at a seminar, and more! Try out the equipment of your choice for an on-water fee. Attendance to the festival is free.

Don’t miss the spectator-friendly race from the shores of Lake Sammamish State Park. It features a 6-mile course of kayakers, stand-up paddleboarders and outriggers in a three-lap race. There will also be a 2-mile course (one lap) for those interested in a shorter run or just new to racing. Both the 6-mile race and the 2-mile race will begin at 10:30 a.m.

Attendance is free to the public; tours and on-water demos cost $10 for the day; valid Discover Pass required for parking
