The Foss Waterway Seaport, in partnership with Tacoma’s School of the Arts and Live Paint, invites you to an evening of ghostly tales…at night, in the dark! Just a little bit spooky…and a whole lot of fun!
Come experience this innovative storytelling experience, back for a second time by popular demand, called “Ghosts In the Balfour Dock Building!”
Ticket holders will be taken back in time through a guided tour of our vast warehouse (in the dark…it gets really dark at night) while ghosts from the past appear throughout your walk. Each ghost has a story to tell. Hear firsthand what Tacoma was like before our historic warehouse was built, enjoy tales from those who worked in the warehouse, and experience a night full of history and wonder.
Dress warmly. We have no heat. Wear layers, heavy coat, hat, gloves, long underwear and your smart wool socks. (The warehouse at night is an experience like no other…one that very few people have experienced since the 1900s!)
