Celebrate the cultures of the most diverse neighborhood during this weekend festival with a parade, street party and park entertainment and fun. Enjoy food, games, music, and friends from around the world! On Saturday, the Rainier Valley Heritage Parade kicks off with 75 groups representing the diverse Rainier Valley community. Parade begins at 11 a.m.
This festival coincides with Seattle Parks' Big Day of Play at Rainier Community Center, and Seattle Summer Parkways where streets transform into a place for people.
After the parade, the festival fun continues for people to enjoy music, food, art and games. On Sunday, enjoy a dynamic lineup of performing and visual artists that highlight Southeast Seattle’s diverse styles and cultures. Attractions include music, dance performances & workshops, arts & crafts, games, bouncy houses, food trucks and a live camel!
