Bastyr University’s annual “Haunted Trails” event returns for another year of spooky fun! Hosted rain or shine in the forest behind Bastyr University’s Kenmore campus for two consecutive Fridays and Saturdays in October (14-15 and 21-22), the event, now in its 18th year, is one of the Eastside’s longest-running and biggest fright fests. This year’s event has activities for teens and adults in the spooky Haunted Trails, while kids 8 and younger trick-or-treat and play games in the Carnival. All tickets sales benefit student study-abroad programs.
Events for Ages 8 and Older
Haunted Woods: Tour scenes inspired by Dante Alighieri’s “Inferno.” Try not to get too confused in by the ghostly wanderers in limbo because you have to get through even greater distractions in lust, the flesh eaters in gluttony, those in power in greed, the fallen angels in wrath, and the murderers lurking in violence. Just when you think you are safe terrifying demons are expecting you before you meet the devil himself. Hopefully you will not end up frozen in fear.
Haunted Graveyard: Should the devil allow you to pass back into the world of the living you first must travel through the land of the dead, where monsters unimaginable await.
Please note: We do not allow children under 8 into these events and we strongly recommend that children under 10 do not attend. This event can be traumatizing to younger ones, which is NOT our intent. We only want to give the adults nightmares!

Separate events for ages 8 and younger:
Trick-or-Treat: Bring your little ones for trick-or-treating at Bastyr University with some of their favorite characters! Don’t forget your camera! Cost: $5 (Runs 5-6:30 p.m.) Children’s Carnival: Carnival-style games and events geared towards the littler ones! Cost depends on activity. Cash only. (Runs 5:30-8:30 p.m.)
Concession Stand: Buy novelty items for the trail. Glow sticks, flashing rings, T-shirts, hoodies, hats, rain ponchos, and more at our favorite spook-and-scare store!
Parking: Free event parking is available on the Bastyr University campus, 14500 Juanita Dr NE, Kenmore, WA 98028

At the Door: $20 per person. Check-in and ticket sales begin at 6:30 pm each night. Cash or Major Credit Cards accepted.
Please Note: A limited number of tickets are sold each night. Visitors are advised to come the first weekend, October 14-15, when lines are shorter. The second weekend, October 21-22, can sell out as early as 8:45 p.m. Haunted Trails is rain or shine; refunds are not available (unless we close the event due to adverse events).
