Brightmont Academy, a private school specializing in one-to-one instruction for students in grades 6-12, continues to grow by opening a new campus in Woodinville. This is the fourth Brightmont campus in Washington, and the 11th nationwide.

“We appreciate the long and successful history we have built with schools, families, and collaborating professionals throughout the greater Puget Sound area,” said Ruth Wilson, founder of Brightmont Academy. “Washington helped us prove the validity of this innovative instruction model, and provided confidence to families in Arizona, Michigan, and Minneapolis as we expanded into these other states. Now it is time for us to expand in Washington State to offer a convenient solution to our partners in Woodinville.”

Woodinville residents can begin receiving services in November, and a grand opening open house is scheduled for Wednesday, December 7th. Families and educators may drop in any time from 9:00-7:00 to tour this newest campus and learn more about one-to-one instruction.

“One-to-one instruction at Brightmont Academy fully individualizes the learning process,” said Dr. Marcia Rodes, campus director of the Seattle campus. “This is a proven model that addresses a wide range of academic needs, from those with learning difficulties to those who would like to accelerate their studies. In addition, we often see tremendous growth in confidence, responsibility, and aspirations once students are in a caring environment where they experience success and achieve personal goals.”

Brightmont Academy offers a flexible schedule and engaging learning environment using the innovative one-to-one instruction model, dedicating one teacher to one student throughout the entire session. In addition to students who attend Brightmont Academy as their private school and intend to earn a diploma through Brightmont, students may take individual courses to earn credit toward a diploma issued by their local high school, or receive a wide range of support services, including tutoring for grades 3-12, test prep, and career planning advising.

“As we have seen over the past 17 years with our other campuses, one-to-one instruction works,” said Wilson. “When a student needs more than the traditional school can offer, Brightmont Academy creates a customized approach to improve learning outcomes for that individual.”

This new campus will serve the growing interest in customized instruction in the Woodinville region, including Mill Creek, Monroe, Bothell, Duvall, and Snohomish. It is located in downtown Woodinville, and complements existing Washington campuses located in Redmond Town Center, in the Northgate area of Seattle, and on the Sammamish Plateau.

Brightmont Academy, Woodinville, is currently accepting enrollments and reserving schedules. A grand opening open house will be hosted all day December 7th. Parents are also invited to tour the Seattle, Redmond, or Sammamish campuses to learn more about the value of one-to-one instruction today, and the new Woodinville campus starting in November. The Seattle campus is hosting an open house on October 19th, and the Sammamish campus has an open house scheduled for October 27th.
