Bring your new or gently used sweaters, coats and cold-weather gear, especially items for children and teens, for the Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood Sweater Drive!
Drop off your donations at the library and receive a PBS Kids’ “treasure”– and enter to win an exclusive Daniel Tiger Kids’ Giveaway! While you’re at the library, take a photo with Daniel Tiger (a cardboard cutout version, that is) to share the fun with friends and family.
Can’t make it on February 2 but still want to donate? Through February 12, bins will also be available at PCC Natural Markets, Sound Credit Union locations, and at the KCTS 9 Studio in Seattle.
KCTS 9 Television and KCLS are partnering to honor the legacy of Fred Rogers by collecting items to help those in need face the cold winter months. The donated items will benefit Wellspring Family Services, Queen Anne Helpline and Northwest Center.
