Ready to get lit? Then have we got the festival for you. It’s not every day you get to watch a bridge get absolutely rocked by fireworks. But on Saturday, June 28, you have your annual chance to catch spectacular pyrotechnics once again.
Promptly at 10:15 p.m., the Manette Bridge across the Port Washington Narrows will light up with a fireworks extravaganza. Catch the show from the Evergreen Rotary Park picnic areas, the Louis Mentor Bremerton Boardwalk or even your own seafaring vehicle in the Bremerton Marina or on the water.
But the Bremerton Bridge Blast is much more than a fireworks show. It’s a two-day festival (the largest bridge fireworks festival on the West Coast) that features 90 vendors, food trucks, a beer garden and live music throughout the weekend. There’s even a chance to catch a dog agility show by JP Platt’s K9 Kings, all steps away from the Bremerton ferry terminal. Musical acts, including local bands like Bad Honey and Batbox, span a range of styles from Pacific Northwest country and vintage rock to soul and amped acoustic.
