MLK Community Celebration at BIMA

Calendar/Event Details

Join Kitsap ERACE, Living Arts Cultural Heritage Project, and other local organizations for a special MLK Celebration!

The dream of equity, justice, and unity that Dr. King inspired remains to be fully realized 250 years after the founding of this country. We invite everyone in the community to join us this special MLK celebration as we name the history, honor the ancestors, and harvest hope.

We will not be silent in the face of rising hate and division. Instead, we choose to lift up the dignity and rights of ALL PEOPLE in this country. We choose to boldly harvest hope in a time of uncertainty and support the efforts of a new generation committed to equity and justice.

Join us on the 18th to joyfully connect with community to help continue Dr. King’s work of building a just and inclusive beloved community.
