Join Pierce County Parks in celebrating the kick-off of the exciting Parkland Community Trail project!
Opening in 2026, the new trail will give people of all ages a safe, easy way to walk, bike and roll through an area with limited sidewalks or bike lanes — while connecting Parkland neighborhoods to four schools, three county parks and Pacific Lutheran University.
This is a free community event. Parking is available at Sprinker Recreation Center.
This groundbreaking event will be a fun day for the community to enjoy the first days of fall. You can expect:
