Join us for lunch and a unique opportunity to hear from one of Seattle’s leading figures in children’s health advocacy and treatment, Dr. Benjamin Danielson.
As the long-time director of the Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic in the Central District, and now as a practicing pediatrician and clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine, Dr. Danielson believes whole-child treatment, focused on preventative care and education, is the key to healthy, thriving children. He is also a passionate advocate for equality and access in children’s healthcare. Dr. Danielson will be discussing the importance of childhood nutrition and access to quality food as important prevention against common illnesses like asthma, anemia, diabetes, and obesity.
