Anders Rønnau — ADHD

After coaching his first ADHD client in 2007, Anders Rønnau realized his coaching and Narrative Therapy methods worked with kids who have ADHD.

These days, he works with kids ages 6 and up as well as adults. He also launched the website Transforming ADHD in 2016.

Every behavior comes from a positive intention in the child, he says; his work is to transform behavior from the inside out instead of using outside-in, motivational-based methods.

“It’s possible to calm a child’s inner unrest, so they can sit still. It’s possible to build executive functions like memory and planning, even when they seem to be completely missing. It’s possible to transform a pattern like anger in a child in as little as one hour,” says Rønnau.

His first online parenting course, Reclaiming Hope, is open to a limited group of parents until April 8.
