Third Place Books welcomes illustrator Michelle Jing Chan and author Chloe Ito Ward for a story time featuring Michelle's new book Mamie Tape Fights to Go to School, which tells the true story of an eight-year-old Chinese-American girl fighting to end school segregation in 1880s California, and Chloe's new book Made for More, a joyful exploration of immigration and nontraditional beauty.
This story time is free and open to the public. RSVP is not required, and walk-ins are encouraged!
