Big Day of Play is a celebration of Seattle's diversity and it encourages neighbors, communities and families to have fun, build relationships and be active together. It's a day to truly play your way!
Event highlights Include:
-Community Resource Fair featuring over 50 local organizations and businesses
-Youth and family activities, including bounce houses and sports challenges/clinics
-Main stage performances from local artists and cultural groups
-Appearances from the Seattle Sounders, Reign, Mariners and more!
-Free water activities, including paddleboarding, kayaking, rowing and sailing
-Adaptive and inclusive sport offerings in partnership with Seattle Adaptive Sports
-Second annual Big Day of Play Fun Run in partnership with Citywide Athletics
-Block party featuring art activities, face painting, a caricaturist and interactive games
-Tennis and pickleball competitions in partnership with Amy Yee Tennis Center
-3-on-3 and 5-on-5 basketball tournaments from the Seattle Teen Late Night Hoop League
