Your students will remember this field trip fondly forever!
When your school group visits the Chehalis-Centralia Railroad & Museum, they will learn the history of diesel and steam locomotives and get an up-close lesson aboard the 1920’s coaches* from our expert engineers, brakeman, conductors, and volunteers.
Your visit will begin with a brief tour of the CCR&M grounds and rolling stock (train cars), before embarking on a leisurely trip “back in time.” This trip to the former train stop at Milburn rolls through agricultural farmland and is a 9 mile roundtrip, lasting a little over an hour. The sights and sounds of rural rail travel may be a unique experience for your students.
