It’s happening again: Amazon Prime Day is on July 16 at 12 p.m. PST.
As a parent, I have a love-hate relationship with Amazon. I love how convenient it is and how it saves me countless trips to the store with two screaming kids in tow. I've also used their two-hour delivery service which is a godsend when you're a clueless new parent and need some urgent baby supplies.
But all that convenience comes with a price — quite literally. If you’re ever curious to know how much you spent there; log on, click "Your Account" and select "Order History Report." You might want to have a glass of wine in your hand when you do this — just to soften the blow.
That said, when Prime Day swings around, I do look forward to finally saving some money. This is the fourth year that Amazon has run the day of deals and this year they’ve extended it to 36 hours of nonstop saving.
Tip: If you want to get a sneak peek at some of the Prime Day deals you need to be a Prime member and download the Amazon app. There are already some good savings on kids’ clothes, toys and baby essentials like car seats and high chairs.
Happy shopping!
