Kiss Me, Kate is a "summer independent" production and performed by some of the most talented and dedicated theatre students currently working at KIDSTAGE. This is Cole Porter's classic musical romp through unseen hilarious back-stage antics. It’s opening night of a musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew, but nothing seems to be going according to plan. Between romantic confusion caused by a mixed-up flower delivery and a gambling debt with some rather determined collectors, nerves are running high. This show features some of Cole Porter’s famous tunes like “Too Darn Hot” and “Tom, Dick, or Harry”.
