The Camano Island Studio Tour was established in 1997 by the Camano Arts Association and now, in its 19th year, has grown to be one of the largest and most well regarded studio tours in the region. Artists of all backgrounds and preferred mediums open their studios and galleries on Camano Island to display their works, many inspired by the Pacific Northwest. The Tour attracts visitors from throughout the Puget Sound region and beyond, and has become the community's largest tourist attraction. Admission is free and the event is family friendly. Visitors are encouraged to plan for at least 1-2 full days of exploring the Tour's artwork. This event kicks off on Mother’s Day weekend, May 12 – 14 from 10am – 5pm and has an encore the following weekend, May 20 – 21 from 10am – 5pm.
